About my work

I believe that there is unimaginable power in softness, and in the unassuming. Using any amalgamation of ink, paper, paint, fabric, and found objects, I flow between 2D and sculptural work. I find great interest in the resurrection of repurposed objects and finding new ways to pay homage to their past life. Everything has a history and carries with it an energy; well worn objects like fabric or furniture still firmly hold onto their significance of once being loved and used. With my work I pull back the fibers and attempt to follow that memory. Warm light glows and illuminates the entangled timeline of historic paths set before us, and I invite you to step inside, and for a moment live within them.
